Solution

If your vacuum isn’t charging or doesn’t show a charging indication while in the stand, there are a few simple checks that can help you get things working again.

First, if your model has a removable battery, make sure it’s seated properly in the unit. Then confirm that the charging stand is fully plugged in on both ends—the stand itself and the wall outlet. It’s also worth checking whether the outlet itself is receiving power. Some outlets are controlled by a wall switch, so be sure the switch is on to allow power to reach the charging stand.

Next, verify that the vacuum is positioned correctly in the stand. The charging connectors on the vacuum and the stand need to make contact for the battery to charge.

For safety, the vacuum will not charge if the surrounding temperature is below 41°F or above 95°F. If needed, move the unit to a room within this temperature range and try again.

If everything appears correct and the display on the hand unit remains dark after the battery is fully charged, remove the vacuum from the stand and press the on/off button or the +/- speed button. This will display the current battery level. Afterward, you can place the vacuum back into the charging stand.

If your model uses a removable battery, you may eventually need to purchase a replacement battery.
