Solution

Is this a newly installed unit?

  • Make sure the unit has been installed correctly, please refer to your installation guide and use and care manual for more information.
  • Make sure the unit is plugged into a dedicated outlet. It should be 115-volt or 120-volt, individual, properly grounded branch circuit with a 3-prong grounding type receptacle, protected by a 15 or 20 amp circuit breaker or time-delay fuse.

Has there been a power outage recently?

  • Check the circuit breaker or fuse box:
  • Locate your home's circuit breaker or fuse box.
  • Check if the circuit breaker for the refrigerator has tripped or a fuse has blown.

Check the unit power supply and outlet

  • Make sure the unit is plugged in securely and the outlet is working by plugging in another appliance to test it.
